Unlock the secrets of systems in action!
Students will learn about various types of systems, their purposes, and components.
In grade 8 physical science, students will learn how to identify and analyze different systems and their components. Students will explore simple systems designs and components of various existing systems and prototypes of their own as they practice applying the scientific method and engineering principles to real-world problems.
Teaching instructions, with procedural steps and differentiation ideas for enrichment and students working below grade level, help make these lessons easy to teach and successful for all learners.
